Ignition Interlock Devices

If you or someone you know has restricted driving privileges due to a history of alcohol abuse, an ignition interlock device may be a solution to getting back on the road again. A breathalyzer for an individual's vehicle, an ignition interlock requires the driver to blow into a mouthpiece on the device before starting the vehicle. If the results exceed the programmed blood alcohol concentration, the device prevents the engine from starting.

The interlock device is located inside the vehicle, near the driver’s seat, and is directly connected to the engine’s ignition system. At Wet Audio and Accessories, we are state-certified to install the low-cost IntoxaLock line of breathalyzers.
